Travels of Total reliance on divine providence, short and long range...

(STATUTE Ch. 3 - Apostolic Life)

3,6 The long-rage journeys - totally dependent on providence, as Jesus says in the Gospel (cf. Lk. 9:1-6) - take place through long pilgrimages, on foot or hitchhiking, toward a predetermined goal (e.g. a Marian sanctuary). This is done with the aim of encountering and evangelizing many people. The case is similar for journeys at a short range (usually within the diocese).
