Prayer and Charism of the adp-vv fpd Lay Missionaries:
"The non-profit Association of the Lay Missionaries adp-vv-fpd, tied in a special way in its every decision to the Board of Directors of the Little Friars and Little Nuns of Jesus and Mary, has as its aim the growth - in spirituality and works of charity - of a group of lay faithful who intend to live more concretely and closely the missionary aspect of the pfsgm." (Statute of the Lay Missionaries adp-vv fpd, Art. 2)
TYPES OF ADP-VV-FPD MISSIONARIES:
There are three different types of Lay Missionaries:
F - FULL TIME adp-vv Missionaries: those who decide to give all they have to God in a lay form through this Association, living in the guest rooms of the convents used by the Little Friars and Little Nuns (pfsgm) (or in other housing as near as possible to them) and striving to dedicate all their time and resources above all to the apostolate and charitable work of the pfsgm community: frequently helping them with urgent or necessary transportation (given that the members of the pfsgm community do not possess their own means of transportation) or in other material needs, but above all in their organized missions of evangelization and charity (in the United States, poorer countries, etc.).
P - PART-TIME adp-vv Missionaries: those who decide to give about half of their time to God in a lay form through this Association and who, though they might live a slight distance away from the consecrated members of the community (pfsgm), dedicate a good part of their time and their resources to the service of the apostolate and charitable work of the pfsgm community – helping them (if possible) with urgent or necessary transportation or other material needs, but above all (as in the previous case) with the organized missions of evangelization and charity (in the United States, poorer countries, etc.).
D - LONG DISTANCE adp-vv Missionaries: those who decide to give part of their time to God in a lay form through this Association and who, though they live far away from the pfsgm community (even in a different country), dedicate part of their free time and resources to the service of the apostolate and charitable work of the pfsgm community through the initiatives of the full-time and part-time missionaries.
