With the official statement of June 16th 2012, the Card. Agostino Vallini, Vicar of the Diocese of Rome, has invited the population all to come and present themselves at the Angelus of June the 29th  in occasion of the Solemnity of Saint Peter and Saint Paul.
The principal motive for such an invitation is above all that to express to the Holy Father the Roman peoples gratitude and closeness, following the latest happenings that have had as primary objective that of weakening the figure and the work of the High Pontiff Benedict XVIth.
This feeling of affectionate solidarity with the Holy Father has however already been fermenting from within as a spontaneous group of young Catholics, who last month united, giving life to an initiative entitled "We’re for Benedict", of which established the objective of demonstrating the young Catholic’s closeness and the love to the Pope.
"We’re for Benedict" works its social awareness campaign through the web, through the internet site www.noixbenedetto.it  <http://www.noixbenedetto.it>  and through social networks such as facebook and twitter, be it also through the “passing the word” within the Catholic associationism network.
This initiative not only wants to defend the High Pontiff, but also to become an element of new evangelization and an effective awareness campaign in the defense of the Christian and Catholic values, especially within the reality of the youth.
